See Bambi leaping and cavorting on Lake Shore Boulevard

The folks at Torontoist were on hand to snap photos of a thrilling deer rescue—tranquilizer dart and all—earlier this afternoon. A two-year-old buck wandered onto Lake Shore Boulevard near Jameson, and led a team of police officers and vets from the Toronto Zoo on a two-hour chase along Toronto’s waterfront (showing some very impressive leaping skills in the process).
