Four people from Scarborough have been arrested as well as one individual from Newmarket. They have all been charged with possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking, and two face charges of fraud and theft.
Amazon’s loss prevention team had contacted police to allege that the theft operation took place over two years. After an investigation, police say they seized $250,000 in electronics and $50,000 in cash.
