It’s that time of year again. Children have already waited in line (overnight, in tents) for wristbands for the MMVAs, and the confirmations are in for the big show: Carly Rae Jepsen will perform “Call Me Maybe” for hopefully the last time, Nelly Furtado will be around to prove she’s still alive, Kelly Clarkson will be doling out spirited club anthems, and Flo Rida will be getting people young and old out of their seats to dance. Even Kelly Osbourne is confirmed to be there, which is odd, but we’ll take it. (In a perfect world, Osbourne would be announcing the return of the series Life as We Know It.) After the awards, there are two competing parties: the Universal shindig hosted by old-dude party rockers LMFAO and the Perez Hilton to-do hosted by the annoying Perez Hilton (at XS Nightclub, of all places).
