A sneak peek inside Yorkdale’s huge new wing, with Nordstrom, Uniqlo and a Canada Goose flagship
The GTA’s fanciest mall keeps getting bigger. This week, after hosting a series of fashion shows for labels like Lucian Matis and Pink Tartan, Yorkdale unveiled its 300,000-square-foot, $331 million expansion. Inside are some seriously impressive additions, including cult Japanese retailers Uniqlo and Muji, luxe department store Nordstrom, and the first-ever Canada Goose flagship. Here’s a look inside the mall’s brand-new east end.
Shoppers can replenish their sugar levels at a massive new Nadège, which has a mouth-watering chocolate bon bon bar:
The lobby is currently exhibiting the Brain Project, a collection of 100 brain sculptures designed by famous and up-and-coming artists. The installation will be on display until October 31, after which each piece will be auctioned off to support brain health research at Baycrest Health Sciences:
