The Yorkville scene is set to return to its hippie roots tonight—aesthetically, at least—with the opening of boho-magnet Free People. To fête the launch of its first-ever Toronto (and Canadian) retail location, the public is invited to the shop between 6 and 8 p.m. Ally Dean, associate editor at Elle Canada, will be on hand to aid customers wanting to achieve that Free People look (read: crocheted, floral-patterned, flowy-skirted), and there’s even talk of some free swag.
