A fire on Queen Street West at Manning last night caused $600,000 in damage, left three people homeless and damaged four shops along the strip. The blaze, which originated in an upper-floor apartment, took an hour and a half to put out. Sydney’s, Deluxe Boutique, the Australian Boot Company and Flight Centre all suffered water damage—there’s no word on whether the stores will have to close for an extended period to make repairs.
