The Find: Handmade wool pillows from Snob

The Find: Handmade wool pillows from Snob

These one-of-a-kind pillows will add a splash of style to a room and are perfect for Mother’s Day gift hunters.

Throw pillows are a no-brainer for adding personality to a monochromatic palette or quickly gussying up a stark space. We love the organic feel of these down-filled cushions by the South African textile designer Ronel Jordaan, who is perhaps best known for her felt pebble–covered pillows. They are exclusive to the Leslieville boutique Snob but are produced in South Africa by a group of HIV-positive women Jordaan has trained in the craft of felting. The material is made from scratch with wool, hand-cut and hand-dyed for a hit of saturated colour.

$135 at Snob. 388 Carlaw Ave., 416-778-8778, snobstuff.com.
