Tomorrow, an ice cream truck is at your beck and call (for only $12)

If you’re having trouble remembering who’s who among the various Toronto taxi apps, Uber has launched a delicious marketing scheme to help you distinguish them from the rest. Tomorrow, between noon and 6 p.m., the on-demand black car service is teaming up with a local ice cream truck to deliver cool treats right to your doorstep (or anywhere else in the downtown core). For $12, you get to summon the truck—arrival time is an estimated 10 minutes, although we’d bet the forecasted 33°C weather will push that up—and just like magic it shows up with an ice cream party for five.
