You know it’s really summer when the city’s civilized restaurant scene transforms into a frantic orgy of cut-rate dining. Reservations for this year’s Summerlicious fest, which runs from July 4 to 20, won’t be accepted until next week (June 19, if you want to mark it on your calendar), but the menus are up now. The list of participating spots isn’t too different from the 2014 Winterlicious lineup: Momofuku Daishō and Noodle Bar are once again participating, as are Café Boulud, Bent, Splendido and Nota Bene—and, of course, ‘Licious lifetimer CanoeThey’re joined by newbies like Weslodge, Rock Lobster and Origin North, plus about 140 other restaurants—some great, some a little riffraff-y, all offering lunches and dinners for $15 to $45 (the latter doesn’t seem like too much of a steal, really, especially when you slap on a glass of wine or two). The Summerlicious experience can be hit-or-miss, but it’s more likely to feel like a win if you go in with a game plan. With that in mind, here’s where you can go to peruse all of this year’s menus.
