The sure sign that a food trend has exploded beyond niche status: it’s co-opted by a fast-food chain. Pizza Hut Canada is embracing the Canadiana food revolution with a limited-edition poutine pizza that’s loaded with fries, gravy, shaved steak, cheese curds and mozzarella.

It’s one in a series of heritage-inspired pies that includes butter-chicken, Asian BBQ and, of course, maple bacon. While Pizza Hut has long put out outrageous pies in other parts of the world, like the hot-dog-stuffed pizza in the U.K. or the pizza within another pizza in Singapore, Canada only got its first artery-clogging stunt pie in 2011—The Crown Crust, which had meatballs and cheese baked right into the crust. Now, we have an entire family of crazy pizzas to call our own. For a retrospective on the American chain’s Frankenpizzas over the years, check out our slideshow.
