
The results are in, and yesterday’s massive snowfall set a new single-day record, according to measurements recorded around the city.
At Pearson International Airport, CP24’s meteorologist, Bill Coulter, reported that Toronto received 46 centimetres during Sunday’s storm. The previous single-day record there was 36.8 centimetres, back in 1966. According to Environment Canada, 56 centimetres of snow fell at Billy Bishop.
