Going on strike seems to be the thing to do these days, and we’re wondering if the city’s inside workers will be next to get picketing. Though CUPE Local 79 members voted 85 per cent in favour of a strike mandate, union leaders have promised not to walk off the job early Saturday morning unless the city foists new working conditions on them. The city hasn’t yet said whether it’ll do that, but—worryingly—it has released a list of the services that would be affected in the event of a work stoppage: daycares, municipal museums, community centres, fitness facilities and pools. phone is dodgy unsure if my coenmmt made also can write so much yes am really enjoying this course some real inspirational women i actually felt i could hug every woman in room lol unusual also a smile on my face the other day when just thinking about the women on course i had just been at a forum which didnt finish until 7 (a long day) but reinforces that people really do wanna make a difference outside of this course male n all lol just need a time for reflection my son is really enjoying creche also although recently i feel these courses maybe much which i have put my name on which is 3 days am also suposed be on a first aid course am putting my son in creche alot alsolove feeling human on course donot wana think n obsess too much or start to be machanical as a machine (am gonna treat as a holiday n welcome opportunity) without putting pressure on myself there is no pressure on this coursei know what they say lol feel the fear do it anyway, believe in ya values (what is important to ya)money for bus fare n childcare provide love this course although am sure i had some long conversation about busfare lol really enthusiasm with this course how come we cannot continue n build a massive network fabulous women horrrrrrrray women also dont forget be true be honestdont knock it until ya try it (spoken from a true master, anonymous) : )
