Romantic and desperate woman posters Leslieville seeking soulmate
We live in the age of Craigslist Missed Connections, but that isn’t stopping one Toronto resident from landing her man the old-fashioned way: creating eight-and-a-half-by-11-sized posters and a Gmail account, and postering a small section of the city. The woman, “Fiona,” is looking for her man, “Jeff,” after the two presumably shared a conversation at a Blue Jays game. Fiona has asked Jeff to write his favourite type of music in the subject line, like a real life Captcha test. (Our guess is dubstep.)
Update: Torontoist got in touch with Fiona and found out that, though she did track down Jeff, it turns out he’s in a long-term relationship. Too bad! (Well, for Fiona, at least. We guess that’s nice for Jeff.)

Hey, the image credit should go to me! That was the same image I uploaded to imgur and then posted to Reddit.
She should try looking for him at itiggy.com or Craigslist missed connections. These 2 sites are designed for makin these connections.
Hey delaynomoar, you are right to complain. If you used a toronto life image without permission they would happily sue you. Unfortunately it’s no longer your problem but imgur’s as when you upload to them “You grant Imgur a non-exclusive, royalty- free, perpetual, irrevocable worldwide license”.
Pretty shoddy example of how corporations treat intellectual property all round.
I don’t mind at all Toronto Life using my image, but Naomi didn’t take that photo. She grab it from Imgur too. I won’t have complainED if the credit just read Imgur in the first place. But seeing Naomi’s name.. should I say… made me a tad jealous?
Why does the headline say she is “desperate?” This is ingenuity, not desperation. Other people post on Craigslist when they meet someone. They’re not “desperate” but this is?
