
Well, the budget is out, and the reaction from the federal parties came out earlier than expected: the Liberals and Bloc won’t support it, but that wasn’t the surprise. At just after 4:40 this afternoon, Jack Layton announced that the NDP won’t support it either. That means that—unless the Conservatives chase the NDP and offer some amendments—Canada is heading to the polls, probably for early May.
Get set for a wild and crazy April, people.
