Bespectacled Torontonians have another reason to look forward to summer: U.S. eyewear brand Warby Parker is opening its first Canadian location on Queen West, according to Retail Insider. The New York–based brand will set up its storefront at 684 Queen Street West, which formerly housed a Dark Horse Espresso.

Warby Parker, which launched in 2010, is known for modestly priced, vintage-inspired eyewear: most frames are named after iconic authors and literary figures (there’s a Burroughs, a Beckett and a Burke, for instance). We especially love the quirky, Lennon-inspired shades and translucent-rimmed cat-eyes

The Toronto outpost is scheduled to open by late summer, just in time for Bellwoods-bound west-enders to stock up on new shades starting at a very reasonable $95.
