In terms of well-received stocking stuffers, you can’t go wrong with a pair of playful socks. From today until the end of December, Toronto-based company Yo Sox is peddling its bold graphic socks—which have been spotted on the athletic feet of Joffrey Lupul—at its first holiday pop-up on Queen Street. (The fast-growing brand only launched last year, and can already be found in over 3,000 stores across North America.) This winter, its collection includes ankle and knee-high socks adorned with festive Christmas trees, Movember-themed moustache patterns and, of course, plenty of bright-hued polka-dots and stripes. (Got a grouchy gift recipient? They may appreciate the label’s “Bah, Humbug” socks.) For a particularly special sock enthusiast, visitors can sign up for the company’s signature “soxscription” service, which delivers a different pair of funky-printed socks to your door every month for a year.
