The Find: Muttonhead’s new line of outdoorsy apparel for the sartorially-minded
Now that the temperature is getting tolerable, this summer’s outdoor adventures–be they northern canoeing expeditions or lakeside leisure time–are finally on the horizon for the city’s wilderness-starved population. And beloved Toronto label Muttonhead, after years of hawking consciously made Canadiana gear online and in select boutiques, opened its first flagship on Roncesvalles last weekend. Unlike dorky camping outfits (zip-off cargo pants, anyone?), the pieces from Muttonhead’s new collection, dubbed The Wanderer, will appeal to rustic style lovers and those looking for cool, cozy basics for weekend getaways to cabins, tents, or sleeping hammocks.
