Bootie call: this season’s must-have shoe is under $200
One of our favourite footwear looks for fall is an invisible wedge heel—it’s trendy but still understated. Added bonus: we get the height of a heel with the comfort of a flat. This shoe-bootie (shootie?) from L.A. designer Jeffrey Campbell is 100 per cent leather and well priced at $180. It will be available this Friday at one of our favourite shoe stores in the city, Chasse Gardée.

hid-e-ous
is this a joke? That is maybe the ugliest shoe i have ever seen.
I (admittedly) check out girls non-stop. If I saw a girl wearing these, they would be an instant “Don’t”.
Is this a joke? C’mon T-Life… you can do better than this
I know it’s not politically correct to speak of disabilities but don’t these remind you of the shoes that people with clubfeet used to wear?
Cmon Tlife….REAAAALLLLLLLLLLYYY???
terribly disapointed
OMG that boot is soooo ugly. I can think of way better ways to spend $180!!!
OMG…has Fashion taken a turn for the worst? Or was this an article posted by T-Life by error…whatever the reason…No Way!
“Instant don’t?” Ugh, get over yourself.
I have faith that female Toronto Life readers aren’t the type of women who dress only for men.
I actually looked around for this boot after seeing this post. Any idea if they can be found in a chain store? As a Torontonian uprooted to Montreal, I’d like to a way to try these on short of a trip home.
I agree with everyone else. Thes boots are extremely ugly and I would never wear these
I have to agree with the majority. They are ugly.
LOVE and can picture countless outfits they’d complement perfectly. But definitely not for the short-legged.
If only I had seen these before buying my fall booties…
Ewwwww.
“This is not a booty call!” I can’t possibly see how these boots compliment a skirt or dress. Why not pick a ‘Dumond’ boot as your selection? Some boots are under $200.00, from Brazil and not made in China. The Dumond Collection steps away from the cliché and is an intriguing collision of style and sophistication. Two store locations: Newmarket and Burlington. Clearly disappointed in T-Life fashion editors.
It’s called Toronto Life. Not Newmarket Life or Burlington LIfe.
As a guy I think this shoe looks really nice on women :D But maybe I just like different
