2. That guy with the tattoos and plaid shirt and glasses is SO CUTE! What’s his name? He seems so on-brand!

3. If you’re looking for more street style people, go see Michael Leclair, server and barista at Gilead Cafe/Bistro at King and Parliament. He is beautiful and chic every day. I wish I had a photo of him on his bike with his sleek sports jacket. Such a gentleman. And so young, tall, and pretty. He’d be mortified of he read this. :)

4. Seriously, this is the best we’ve got, you’ve got to be kidding me. There are only a couple people here with real style (oddly enough mostly the men) the rest are boring, dime a dozen, typical looks you’ll find everywhere in every city. YAWN!! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that everyone doesn’t look ‘nice’ but nice and stylish are two very different things. Obviously the collective staffers who wrote this article and went in search of people on the street have no style themselves, sigh.

5. This post, while lovely and eye-catching, more so defines a certain aesthetic within Toronto rather then the Toronto-aesthetic-general. I have a feeling Toronto, known for its multiculturalism, also has a ‘multi-fashion’ like scene that would be lovely to explore.

6. My greatest concern over this piece is that in such a multicultural city it seems only white people are stylish?
   Not so in my Toronto.

7. A very unrealistic slice of downtown TO. The two kids look like they came from a catalogue shoot. I don’t think the Satorialist would find any of these looks worth photographing. How about you ask for readers to submit what they consider defining TO looks, downtown, uptown or wherever. I’m sure they could muster more compelling, stylish examples. Finally, integrating the Yorkdale ad is nonsensical, no?

9. I can only think of one word to describe the majority of these looks: vanilla.

10. As a number of the comments here have noted. Your representation of Toronto style is vanilla, contrived and definitely not representative of Toronto. Perhaps you need to get some real people to photograph and represent the real Toronto. You clearly have a very limited/restricted view of Toronto depicted here. In fact it looks more like a wish list from your perspective than reality. It is not the year 1890 anymore. Pretty sad in 2012.

11. This is hardly a representation of Toronto. I really hope that those reading outside of Toronto, don’t actually believe we are not this dull, bland & cookie cutter. All the people look nice and put together, but not a FASHION reprentation…..maybe a large chain store representaion? What’s with the add for Yorkdale!?!

13. downtown toronto is not just white hipsters, I agree vanilla or people trying to look vanilla.
