SLIDESHOW: Team Canada’s Olympic uniforms by Hudson’s Bay

With less than 100 days to go before the festivities begin in Sochi, Hudson’s Bay has revealed Team Canada’s look for the 2014 Olympics. The aesthetic: heritage sporty in red, white and black (or, as HBC is calling them, “Maple Leaf Red, Northern White and Winter Night Black”), with Canadiana touches like trapper hats and streamlined logos of beavers, polar bears and loons. We can already see a few likely bestsellers, including a duffle coat inspired by the classic Bay point blanket ($275), a reversible down puffer jacket ($150), along with tees ($30-$35), toques ($15–$20) and a new version of the famous red mittens, naturally ($10). While there has been some grumbling about the pieces for consumers being made in China, the designs themselves scream Canadian pride. Check it out for yourself in the slideshow below.
