Coco Rocha gets engaged, lands a byline in New York Times
At this rate, the model’s next accomplishment will be walking on water. Coco Rocha announced on her blog earlier this week that she is engaged to interior designer James Conran.
I’m very happy to announce that I am engaged. Mr. Conran proposed last week, and I most definitely accepted. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy as I am right now. I can’t wait to start the rest of my life with him…
Love you with all my heart James,
xoxo
Coco
There’s no mention of the engagement in a personal essay by Rocha in the Times yesterday. In the piece, she talks about having a family that works in the airline industry (her uncle was a founder of Air Transat). Her mother works as a flight attendant for Air Canada; Rocha recalls flying every week with her mom and considered the flight crew to be a second family.
Between this, the engagement, her clothing line, correspondent and modelling gigs, we’re sure Rocha is, in fact, flying high.

Miss Coco is I don’t know, beyond aimnazg as a model. She is the truth of fashion model. I love the fact that she likes what she does for a living. So many working models should not be modeling. Coco Rocha! I can’t wait to see your line. I wish I were one of the selected few that get the chance to see it in September at Lincoln Center. But hey, maybe some time soon; with my modeling and my trying to start my American high fashion magazine, I will get an invitation to see one of your fashion week shows in the near future.
