7 in 1: an outfit from Robber that will help you set sail this summer

We’re all busy, and sometimes squeezing in a shopping break can be as arduous a task as scheduling a teeth cleaning, since it seems we’re so connected to work (we’ve been witnessed with our noses buried in our smart phones on more than one occasion). But Torontonians are lucky—the town is filled with stores that act as an easy one-stop fashion shop, letting us craft the perfect outfit (shoes and accessories included!) all in one place. Join us on our sartorial journey through the city this summer, making entire outfits that cover our tops and bottoms. First up: contemporary Queen West unisex boutique, Robber. Check out the merchandise in a gallery after the jump.

Summer is a time when getaways to cottages in the Muskokas are in abundance, and we think Robber makes piecing together a shore-worthy outfit look easy. We doubled up on the mixing-patterns trend by layering a Rittenhouse striped top ($140) and Filippa K sweater ($225) for those cool get-thee-to-a-bonfire summer nights. We liked these shorts from local talent Jules Power, which can be dressed up with Filippa K heels ($225) or dressed down (we all have a pair of flip flops kicking around our closets)—they’re a steal at $99. Since the nautical trend is a recurring, somewhat ubiquitous summertime choice, we suggest adding another layer with a couple of chain accessories, like the necklaces we found by Laura Lombardi (washer necklace $99; plate necklace, $130), and Steven Alan’s straw hat ($145) makes us feel like we’ve got the keys to a luxury cruise ship in our back pocket. Well, that takes care of weekend number one, and rest assured, there won’t be any overboard moments in this outfit.
