A look inside the highest penthouse in Toronto
At somewhere around 273 metres above street level, the four penthouses on the 79th floor of the Aura tower, at Yonge and Gerrard, are the highest residential addresses in Toronto (at least, until someone builds a taller tower). Last week, developer Canderel invited the press for a tour of one of the $3.5-million, two-bedroom sky mansions: a model suite kitted out with furniture and finishings selected to appeal to wealthy buyers who want the elegance of stone and wood with some of the sleek sophistication that comes with an address in the clouds—and who don’t mind feeling their eardrums pop every time they ride the elevator. Here, a close-up look at the interior.
