fun for partied. kitchen looks like someone barfed chocolate milk all over!
I sort of love this place! Although I betcha ten bucks whoever buys it gets the shower glass frosted. I would ipe up that terrace real nice rather than the pavers, if I was wealthy enough to afford and furnish a $2mm condo. What is the room with the “abstract sofa” supposed to be?
i wouldn’t frost the shower…but who in their right mind would build a step in the middle of a kitchen….can’t wait for the first time i trip trying taking the pasta off the stove and over to the sink to drain…..
I Would pay that much for the terrace only if I lived in a country with year round access! Kitchen with all those steps? HOT POT and slip on the steps?! madness! Lying in bed in the master bedroom and watch ma date take a steam shower in thet open bizarre thing?! Strange… and wierd..dunno bout $2mil!!!!
Form over function: - Sofa chairs are so far from each other they separate people apart rather than connect them together.
– Coffee tables are so far from sofas that you need to walk to put down a cup of coffee.
– Only 2 seats are placed in front of TV. The long distance will make movie watching far from immersive.
– The mains speakers do not flank the TV, which means all movie sounds will come from the right side of the screen, unless the two little speakers from the ceiling were used as the main speakers which is far from ideal.
These are all weaknesses quite common with design for looking good instead of design for living well. Then again, most buyers fall for looks and don’t think about how they will actually live in the space.
Horrible, from beginning to end. Middle-aged, divorced, man from the 905 would love it.
Only $2mn to live in a grey concrete box? Yeah, this is sort of a coke-fuelled bender headquarters, but not sure it qualifies as a place to actually, you know, live. Think what you could have in this city for that money…
. Those steps in the kitchen are sure to seriously injure someone. Ignatz is right.
LOL I love when someone buys a condo and outfit’s it with art they think OTHERS will love. lame place.
@Tod – Totally agree the terrace is amazing for the few short months you can enjoy it. Overall – brr! I find it cold and I’m so tired of the concrete ceiling thing. Wow – $2M!
Love the comment about “being swallowed by a Blue Jay”!!!!
Derek, spot on! The decor in this place is terrible. Someone should sue the manufacturers of those bloody awful dated leather sofas that for some reason are still for sale all over the place. Why do people insist on hanging their TV’s over the fireplace like a prize?? The TV should be at eye level when you are sitting down, I don’t want a kink in my neck every time I want to watch an epic movie. And as far as I’m concerned the TV should not be visible when you’re not watching it, if you can afford this condo you can afford a beautiful TV unit, TV’s are not attractive. There is also plenty of room in this condo to have several dedicated seating areas; one for entertaining centered around the fireplace and then a separate area (where the black couch is, which is also where the TV should go) for watching TV. Once the decor is changed you’re still left with the dangerous step in the kitchen and the master bath debacle (from the over exposure to the blue tile that will cost a fortune to replace). And lastly but most importantly if you’re shelling out that much cash for the view, that view is most likely going to be completely blocked to the east and south because of the Fashion House development DOH!!
