Toronto should be renamed CondoLand since the city just lets developers run the game and create the only urban planning vision it has. The abattoir was there first and now realtors have their grubby little paws all over it.

Totally agree. It’s like another rent. And this building doesn’t even seem to have a pool/gym. Plus, I live in the area and it sounds even more ridiculous to me to pay 800k for a pig-slaughter-house odour every time you open the window.
Oh despite all the whining, it is rather lovely. I could be happy there!
It’s actually pretty normal price, considering the space. Heard crazier price when I was looking for a place downtown (somewhere along $1000/month for 600sqft). Sad but true.
