Boating enthusiasts and cottage-goers will congregate this weekend to ogle luxury yachts, racing powerboats, classic canoes, and everything else nautical. Next Stage Theatre Festival
From the Toronto Fringe comes a selection of ten indie theatre shows, most of them new works by artists who have staged performances during past Fringe Festivals. The subject matter ranges from musicals to political dramas, and tickets are relatively cheap. Conveniently, there will be a beer tent by the box office, where actors and audience members can gather for some drinks. Until Jan 19. Tickets $10-$15. Long Winter: Year Two, Volume Three
Long Winter is back with a lineup of bands, art installations, dance shows and performance art. A Taste of Kensington
