TIFF Party: Parkland (Soho House)

Grey Goose Soho House got a major dose of celeb testosterone last night at the post-screening party for Kennedy assassination flick Parkland. The bash lured a spirited throng of Hollywood bros, including Zac Efron, who gamely hobnobbed with star-struck fans; Colin Hanks, who managed to seem almost lifelike (contrary to photographic evidence); and a possibly injured Paul Giamatti, who was overheard grunting as he limped his way through the crowd en route to a private seating area occupied by ex-Smallville star Tom Welling. Meanwhile, True Blood actors Stephen Moyer and Grant Bowler held court on a cluster of couches near the door while Prisoners co-stars and new besties Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman did a drive-by on their way out the door, having spent the evening partying away from prying (and publishing) eyes on the press-free second floor (other rumoured upstairs attendees: crooner Rufus Wainwright and Prometheus star Idris Elba). Among the noticeably smaller estrogen set were Parkland cast members Jacki Weaver and Kat Steffans and The Last of Robin Hood star Susan Sarandon, who once again hid in the corner with a small entourage. Even without the dance-floor stylings of Michael Fassbender (who reportedly took his bump-and-grind skills to a Brad Pitt party on the Thompson rooftop), the party was still raging when we called it quits at three.
