On a discreet side street in Toronto’s Entertainment District, the Soho House pop-up (brought to TIFF by Grey Goose) was in full swing on Friday night—a flock of A-listers came through for The Ides of March cocktail party, followed by a private dinner for We Need to Talk About Kevin, a film starring Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly.

On the third floor of this cozy, Kilim-rugged warehouse space, Tilda Swinton was otherworldly in emerald Haider Ackermann and a blond pixie cut so sharp it could cut glass. After her official party-posing duties, she moved about the room, socializing with both friends and crew. Find out who fell asleep at the party after the jump.

Ezra Miller also attended (well, part of) the event: he canoodled with a bohemian blond at the wooden harvest table only to leave her dateless as he passed out—and we mean eyes shut and sleeping—in a nearby chair. As the night carried on, Swinton had fun as she took goofy digital camera pics with husband John Byrne; however, she left quietly before the midnight dinner was served. With Soho House chefs flown in from both Los Angeles and Miami, we didn’t dare pass up the gourmet fare. Elaine Lui of Lainey Gossip savoured the mushroom risotto as she entertained our table with, um, Hollywood gossip.

After dinner, guests migrated down to the second floor where Soho House members, media and heartthrob Alexander Skarsgard partied into the wee hours. We’d say we need a drink, but those are plentiful during TIFF, so what we could really use is a nap.
