TIFF PHOTO GALLERY: a coterie of pretty young things at the Martha Marcy May Marlene gala

A parade of churlish youth walked the red carpet yesterday at the premiere of Martha Marcy May Marlene. Brady Corbet refused to take his sunnies off—sorry, Brady, Jason Statham already tried that bit—claiming he was feeling rough but he “didn’t mean to be an asshole.” Newbie director Sean Durkin looked nervous, while Hugh Dancy was all smiles and luscious beard. Sarah Paulson showed up pretty in purple, but the main attraction was unquestionably Elizabeth Olsen, who grinned and tittered like a good sport (but who we also heard whispering under her breath: “The faster we do this, the faster it’s over”). Showing up unexpected and fashionably late was a rocker-chic Juliette Lewis, who admitted that she hadn’t prepped for the red carpet and apologized for her obscenely long nails (apparently, she was wearing them for a role). See our photo gallery, after the jump.
