Rob Ford guilty of “illegal” campaigning, says councillor (and thwarted radio host) Josh Matlow
Rob Ford’s plan to run a slate of pro-subway candidates in the 2014 city hall election has already hit its first obstacle—and his name is Josh Matlow. Last week on his NewsTalk 1010 show, Ford asked subway-loving citizens to call his office and sign up to run against one of the councillors who has thwarted him. (You know, like that LRT-loving pinko John Parker—a former Conservative MPP who has otherwise voted with the mayor on nearly every other issue.) However, council code of conduct prohibits the use of city property for campaign-related activities, so using the mayor’s office as a hotline to recruit candidates is a bit of a no-no (and not Ford’s first). Matlow had a wide range of opinions on his show from people of all political stripes.
Matlow is a great, rational and well-rounded person, so it’s a rare thing to see in the world of politics.

The only diversity the Fords like to see is in waist line. As in everything from 38 to 58 or more. Anything smaller and you must be a vegetarian crack-smoking pinko leftard homo artiste. Of course brotherly love between two men is okay. I mean they’re both carnivores and they like football.
