The farm-centric subject matter of At Any Price must have inspired Dennis Quaid to wear blue jeans on the red carpet (he is certainly in the running for least-dressed-up star at the festival thus far). In the flick, High School Musical alum Zac Efron plays Quaid’s racecar-driving son, who wants to leave rural Iowa and his father’s farm, and Efron took a different approach on the red carpet, sporting a full suit and—somewhat surprising at this year’s festival—a tie! Though Heather Graham, who has a supporting role in the film, wasn’t on the red carpet at the Princess of Wales Theatre on Sunday night, Maika Monroe, who kind of looks like a younger version of Graham, made an appearance in a sweet, long-sleeved white dress. The lacy outfit was fun, but noticeably less glam than the feathery Marchesa dress she donned in Venice. We’re not sure we like this trend of TIFF playing sartorial second fiddle to Venice.
