Slippery sole: bathing shoes stylish enough for the sidewalk
Slippery sole: bathing shoes stylish enough for the sidewalk
Robber, one of our favourite little Queen West boutiques, has just received a limited supply of these super cute bathing shoes from F-Troupe ($50). Available in cream and kelly green, they’re made of a jelly shoe-like plastic so you can stroll in the water at Ward’s Island without donning the ghastly water shoes of our childhood or going barefoot and risking toe-to-toe contact with a submerged victim of an Asian mafia hit. Go now—each colour is only available in one of each size.

I prefer the term “aqua socks” to “ghastly water shoes” and they were awesome. Still have a pair.
