Buy straight off the runway at Yorkdale’s new Canadian designer pop-up shop

More on Yorkdale Mall

This month, Yorkdale filled the void left by Toronto Fashion Week with FashionCan, a series of runway shows in their brand-new wing from local designers like Pink Tartan and Paul Hardy. As part of the initiative—and to make the event as consumer-friendly as possible—the mall also built a pop-up shop where attendees could immediately buy looks from the collections they’d just seen on the catwalk. The shows are over now, but the shop is staying open until the end of the year, letting mall-goers stock up on Sophie Trudeau–approved gowns from Lucian Matis or punchy basics from Toronto-based designer Jennifer Torosian. Here’s a glimpse at all the Canadian couture you’ll find inside:

There are 15 labels housed inside the temporary shop. Right now, only fall lines are in stock, but shoppers can pre-order next spring’s collections at the desk:

There’s a mini Pink Tartan boutique full of stylish suits and sophisticated basics. We love this mohair camel coat and these floral jacquard trousers:

Montreal designer Marisa Minicucci’s new outerwear label Sosken consists of versatile, slightly androgynous coats—like this this long military-style number—that will take you through winter in style:

The pop-up’s also a rare chance to get your paws on some pieces from socialite- and celeb-beloved local designer Mikhael Kale.
