The Find: a T-shirt that brings back fond memories of the Toronto Blue Jays at their best
We had high hopes for the Blue Jays in April. Sadly, though, our dreams of a return to postseason glory were dashed in a flurry of injuries, unmet expectations and painfully poor pitching—the squad’s season ends tomorrow night, once again well shy of a playoff run. They should have listed WAMCO.
Wamco or bust
WAMCO is the listing of choice: White, Alomar, Molitor, Carter, Olerud . . . best top five in Blue Jays history.
Fix the leading (line spacing) and I’d buy the shirt.
WHAMCO was even better: White, Henderson, Alomar, Molitor, Carter, Olerud. Imagine Olerud batting sixth!?! Now THAT was a stacked lineup. [Sigh]
I preferred Winfield over Molitor, but WAMCO was certainly legendary.
Why not just make 2 shirts with the entire lineups from the 92 and 93 championship teams??

awesome how many people immediately thought of WAMCO.
WAMCO definitely would have been the better choice, with respect to Pat Borders. It would have achieved the same thing this shirt achieves, yet with a bigger impact since WAMCO was an actual thing. Missed opportunity.
