It was down to us and Canadian Grocer in terms of media outlets that hadn’t mentioned the Adam Giambrone sex scandal. But after Kristen Lucas, the 20-year-old whose secret relationship with the former mayoral candidate has caused him to drop out of the race, sent her glamour shots (we use the term glamour liberally) to celebrity gossip blog Drink the Glitter yesterday, we’re hopping on the Giambrone media gravy train based on the model technicality.

“She didn’t want ugly pictures of her out there…she wanted good pictures,” David Robert from Drink the Glitter told the National Post regarding the MySpace-esque photos she submitted to the blog. But despite all the media attention, which included news crews knocking on her door as she hid in her house, Robert says Lucas still wants to be famous: “She wants to be a model. She wants to be an actress.”

The photos are mostly shots of her dressed in Halloween-like party regalia and one heavily airbrushed headshot that makes her look like the Octomom. If Lucas thinks these shots are going to get her a meeting with Elmer Olsen, she needs to update her portfolio.

While it’s interesting to get a Toronto version of the Woods/Sanford/Edwards scandals, it’s unlikely that, like the alleged “other women” in those affairs, Lucas will get a book deal, a spot on Entertainment Tonight or even her full 15 minutes.

Pretty sure Adam Giambrone managed to “bring down” himself. He IS a mentally capable adult, isn’t he? Or is there always some evil whore around to blame for a man’s weaknesses?

I’ve always thought he was a contemptible little egomaniac but this sure seals the deal. I guess he’s learned the big life lesson that you can’t combine frat boy morals with the rigours of running the TTC and running for Mayor. Now go home Adam and grow up.

so, a wanna-be celeb brings down a bright young politician… sounds all too familiar. Sure there’s a lack of judgement there, but the public furor is laughable. it’s all very sad.

I feel so badly for Sarah in all this. As if being cheated on isn’t humiliating enough, the whole thing’s being played out in front of everybody.

I don’t blame the girl in this story – Adam Giambrone is scum for parading his ‘prop’ girlfriend Sarah in front of naive Torontonians. Adam has always danced around direct questions – now we know why – he is a liar and literally runs away from the cameras and the questions when he can’t take the heat. He needs to resign from his post at the TTC.

Everyone should be concentrating on picking up the pieces of what is left in the wake of Adam’s indiscretions. Sarah, his family and his colleagues are all deeply affected by this. Not only is this involving physical cheating, the emotional cheating involved is astounding. Adam has ruined his public career but at least everyone can help those being hurt in the process.
We shouldn’t be paying attention to this individual that “wants to be famous” as her empty 15 minutes will give her nothing but grief. Everything online thus far, has been negative, to put it mildly, and probably isn’t helping her.

I thought she looked like Octomom too. No wonder he didn’t want her by his side for election purposes. Her mother’s no better – a media ho too – cause she let her do interviews at her home. They’ve been watching too much American TV – she’s got her 15 minutes of fame; she’s not getting work out of this.
I’m more annoyed with her than him. Sounds like an unpaid escort to me, showing up and having sex on his couch and not even getting dinner and a drink out of it.

I wasn’t gonna vote for him anyway but he’s just doing what most guys do if they can get away with it. This doesn;t have anything to do with him being Chair of the TTC. Do people really think the Chair runs the place?

I certainly hope and pray that the little tramp can’t use this situation to pole-vault her way into ‘fame’. She seems like the dream woman for Jon Gosselin. She should try him for norterity.

Ugh. What an attention whore. People are carrying on like she’s some kind of underage victim when she’s a grown woman who knew exactly what she was doing.

I’m glad we found out what a hopeless mayor candidate Giambrone was but this girl is kidding herself if she thinks anyone is going to buy her “doing a public service” excuse. And not to be catty but why are newsstories calling her “sexy” and “buxom” and going on about her cleavage? The girl is FAT, people! I have to feel bad for Giambrone due to the whole world now knowing he’s a chubby chaser.

I have trouble believing she didn’t do some research on Giambrone’s personal life before getting involved with him.

gimme a break–this girl DOES look like octomom but with a giant forehead. is she serious about wanting to become a model? with a little time to let things cool down, giambrone will be back in action and octo jr. here will be long forgotten. hell I can’t even remember her name and I just finished reading the story!

Gee it didnt take much for him to fold, Guess he realized in the long run he wouldnt have Miller to protect him. One down lets see if we can get lucky and our budget chief to fall out of politics … suppose we couldnt get that lucky

I’m just going to pretend like she’s the Ashley Dupre of Toronto, minus the escorting nonsense. But this is probably as ‘scandalous’ as it gets in these here parts. Love it!
