Street Style: Spring in Leslieville

Street Style: Spring in Leslieville

Strolling through Leslieville on Sunday, it appeared to be more of a lazy mid-summer afternoon than an early-April weekend. Whether it was for patio drinks at the Ceili Cottage or ice cream at Ed’s Real Scoop, the high temperatures brought the entire neighbourhood outside in seriously summery attire (think: flowy maxi skirts, floral crop-tops and strappy sandals). Here, our favourite—though possibly slightly premature—spring looks.

Jonelle Joseph

36, federal government employee
“I wear jeans or pants to work every day, so it’s nice to feel a bit of a breeze. My style is 1950s with a mod twist—but usually a bit of a mish-mash.”
