For a decade, womenswear lines have been stealing from men’s closets (see the boyfriend jean, the slouchy blazer, the tasselled loafer). But judging by the explosion of pastels and demure hemlines at fashion parties lately, it’s time to dress like a lady again. Designers seem to agree: Kimberley Newport-Mimran’s Pink Tartan shop is full of pleated skirts, and Tanya Taylor’s collection is awash with hand-painted flowers.
