Canada Goose sues International Clothiers for (allegedly!) ripping off its logo

Canada Goose takes its image very seriously, which is why it’s currently suing International Clothiers for producing a jacket named Super Triple Goose that sports similar features to the Canadian company’s signature coats: a logo on the right sleeve and two front-flap pockets on the waist. Sure, people have come to know Canada Goose for its ubiquitous shapeless-yet-warm outerwear, sported by everyone from Rosedale moms to Bay Street bros (it’s pretty much the Starbucks cup of the jacket industry)—but so far none of the brand’s allegations against International Clothiers have been proven in court. Canada Goose also alleges the name of the International Clothiers jacket is a misnomer, since lab tests revealed that only one per cent of the filling is actually goose feather.
