Waxon Waxbar is the speakeasy of waxing spas for men and women
Men who have thought about getting their legs, arms, back or unmentionables waxed—but have thought the process too ladylike—can now privately get their bottoms ($35-$72), feet ($13), hands ($13), fingers ($13), chest ($24), shoulders ($20), forehead ($13), brows ($8-$20) and stomach ($15-$24) attended to at Waxon Waxbar, Summerhill’s new wax-only spa centre. It’s really private, too: men can access the spa from a back door to avoid anyone noticing them going inside to get preened, because apparently some dudes still find getting their wax on a tad too girly for their tastes. Come on, dudes, even Steve Carell did it in the open. (Women are welcome and may enter the front or back door.)

Don’t you think having men walk through the “Back Door” makes this already uncomfortable experience THAT much more awkward? This is very “Waxist”. lol
I actually find the “back door” entrance being a thoughtful thing, people will most likely use the front door anyways but its still a good idea to have a back door entrance for a man’s virgin waxing experience =)
When will men stop torturing themselves??
Hair on a man’s body is sexy – case closed. Strip it off and you strip away the ultimate turn on… pheromones.
The boy look is just a pathetic trend.
Hehe I love how the bottom waxing price ranges from $35-$72. Is there an additional fart fee? hehe
Agreed on two points… 1. hair on a man’s CHEST is mmmm yummy! A back? Yuck! I’m all for mandatory back waxing; HOWEVER, 2. the prices are amusing and for foolish dudes. Guys… Go to Gerrard Street East and save your money. I get my eyebrows threaded on Gerrard for $3!!!! No one will notice you or care – front door all the way.
p.s. I would NEVER date a man who waxed his chest. Eeeuuw! How un-manly and weird.
While I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, hair on a man’s body isn’t necessarily sexy – “case closed” While I don’t mind some hair, and in certain places only, an excessive amount, or hair where there shouldn’t be any is not exactly sexy, and I’m sure there are lots of people who would prefer “the boy look.” :)
