The sellers bought the place back in 2000 for just $366,000. They decided to sell this year, so they could be closer to their youngest son’s new high school. They repainted the interior and exterior, updated the lighting, and redid the kitchen flooring. They also updated the five-piece bathroom:

The buyer, a commercial real estate agent, has already moved in. He was keen to be in Roncey because he knows properties in the area tend to sell easily, and for high prices.
The house attracted tons of interest: more than fifty groups of buyers over two open houses, plus 49 showings. The sellers hadn’t planned on taking a preemptive offer, but, when one came in, they were tempted. Their agent was able to bring in seven other offers within the four-hour irrevocable period—but the first one was still the highest, at about $352,000 over asking. The sellers accepted.
