The property

A small Greenwood house with a new interior. The structure is set back a bit from the forward edge of its lot, giving it plenty of space for a front garden.

And there’s also a massive three-tier deck out back, which connects to exits on both floors. The sliding door on the far left leads to the master bedroom:

The history

The sellers bought the property in 2007 and gutted most of the interior. They added a new kitchen and a third bathroom. Here’s the kitchen:

And here’s the new bathroom. It’s the master bedroom’s en suite, with a soaker tub and two sinks. It has a view of the backyard:

Here’s the master bedroom itself. The sliding door leads to the deck:

Those two bedrooms share this bathroom, which also serves as the laundry room:

The fate

The sellers are moving to the west end, to a larger home with more room for their kids. The buyers, a young couple, fell in love with the unique property. They especially liked how the home was tucked away from the street, for extra privacy.

The sale

The selling agent says he booked 26 showings during the house’s first day on the market. Potential buyers loved the home’s outdoor space and large driveway. After 24 hours, there was a bully offer for $246,000 over asking, which the sellers accepted without much hesitation.
