Condo of the Week: $1.3 million for a walnut-lined luxury unit near Queen’s Park
The place: A two-bedroom condo across from the Windsor Arms.
The history: This place was built in 1999, but every room was upgraded shortly before the current owner purchased it last November. The big overhaul included opening up the living-dining space, raising the ceilings to allow chandeliers, laying herringbone hardwood floors, installing walnut wall units with TVs and fireplaces and redoing the whole kitchen.
Big selling point: The kitchen is spacious and stylish. It has a wide marble island with big drawers underneath, attractive lighted cabinetry and high-quality Wolf appliances.
Possible deal breaker: The balcony isn’t huge, so only a few people at a time can crowd around to watch who’s going in and out of the Arms during TIFF.
