Condomonium: $1.5 million for a Ritz-Carlton suite with the best view of the CN Tower view we’ve ever seen
ADDRESS: 183 Wellington Street West, Unit 3306
NEIGHBOURHOOD: Waterfront Communities–The Island
AGENTS: Carol Lome, Royal LePage/J&D Division, Brokerage
PRICE: $1,475,000
THE PLACE: A two-bedroom corner unit in the hotel-condo hybrid that the Ritz-Carlton opened a little over a year ago. In keeping with the ritzy name, the building has valet parking, catering and a 23,000-square-foot spa. It’s also home to the city’s largest luxury ballroom, for those hoping to work on their Viennese waltz.
BRAGGING RIGHTS: Get up close and personal with the CN Tower—the landmark is so close, it looks like you could lean out the living room windows and touch it (or at least thoroughly freak out anyone trying EdgeWalk ).
BIG SELLING POINT: Sometimes the high-rise-heavy business district can feel overly shady, but this unit is in the southwest corner of the building and gets plenty of sunshine. The wall-to-wall windows even make it possible to track the progress of the sunset across the suite.
POSSIBLE DEAL BREAKER: Though the building has a massive shared terrace, there’s no private balcony to better enjoy the lakefront view.
BY THE NUMBERS:
• $1,475,000
• 2,123 square feet
• $2,179.21 in monthly maintenance fees
• 33 floors up

• 2.5 bathrooms

A boring flip….
The price is cheap for the Ritz, the maint fee are huge but then again its the Ritz. The kitchen is really boring for The Ritz – a kitchen sink under a cupboard ? The space is nice and big, open for The Ritz.. did I say The Ritz enough? You are paying for living at The Ritz! If this a flip, they are making little or no $$$ on it as the real estate fees alone will kill any profit!
The finishes are surprisingly mundane.
love it
ohhhhh lottery love me tonight
dull place, color aweful, view is good.
1.5 mil for the view ? Nope ! I pay $450k for less than half size. Have a great view of CN tower.
My dream has always been to live in a condo near the CN Tower. Wow! how amazing it is to see this. It’s beautiful! I guess I’ll keep on dreaming. Thankyou for sharing.
I disagree… best view of CN Tower is not from this close. I would much rather have a view at a bit of distance from a beautiful patio where you can appreciate it in the background
All that glass and not a single window you can open?
I expected so much more….kind of seems dated.
No photos of the bathrooms and the master WIC WTF?? The finishes are nice enough; the herringbone floor is magnificent, which is really the only standout feature of this condo. Although, again, we didn’t get to see the bathrooms so maybe they are fabulous. $694 a sqft is not too outrageous, especially for ‘THE RITZ’, however it’s those maintenance fees that are the killer. And no balcony is a deal breaker for me, especially when you’re shelling out that much cash. I think our view of the city & tower are much better (facing west from Stanley Park on King W)….and we have a HUGE balcony.
Oops…. facing east onto Stanley Park.
CN Tower….what an eyesore. Rest of the view not bad.
Shockingly mundane indeed. Other than the view…and even that. For that much money…it should be stunningly finished.
More people with money and no sense of design, creativity or taste. What a waste of money and space.
