There’s “exposed concrete” and then there’s “guerrilla war bunker” – this is the latter. The builder clearly didn’t finish the job and I can only guess what other shoddy easter eggs will be found by hapless buyers.
Looks like another bad job by streetcar developments. I made the mistake of purchasing one of their units, it was full of deficiencies. Broken HVAC systems, poor sound proofing (you can hear your neighbour brushing their teeth through the drywall), water leaks, daily power outages, etc.
I have seen other Streetcar buildings and used to feel the same. But I have a friend who lives in this very building can say with certainty that it is the most sound-proof condo I have ever visited. I also think it’s gorgeous. Maybe Streetcar is stepping up and learning from its mistakes.
I lived temporarily in this building and the thing I loved the most was that it was completely sound proof. Weird.
Gorgeous unit! It’ll so close to future 2015 Pan Am Games Athletes Village. I
wonder what sort of new amenities will be coming through.
