Editorial Review

This airy European-style café whips up a variety of pizzas, panini and simple salads, such as marinated calamari tossed with garlic, parsley and lemon juice, and a mixed grilled vegetable salad of eggplant, zucchini, fennel and tomato. Breakfast items include the eggino, a popular Italian egg sandwich. The café serves up cappuccinos and lattes, which are typically made with Canterbury coffee, a premium Vancouver brand. Lofty ceilings and a bright orange backsplash behind the bar all contribute to the cheery feel. Mains $7–$15.
