Summer Chess Camp

Full- and half-day sessions see tykes and teens learn their bad bishops from their backward pawns, all under the supervision of the Chess ’n Math Association’s professional instructors. Campers are placed into specific groups (from fledgling Pawn to masterful King) based on their age and skill. Origami lessons and trips to the Ontario Science Centre, North Toronto Memorial Pool and Leaside Park round out the days. Lunch and snacks are not included. Ages five to 14.

July 14 to 18 and Aug. 18 to 22
How much:
half-day $175 per week, two weeks $300; full-day $250 per week, two weeks $450
