Crestwood Valley Day Camp

Nestled on the bucolic grounds of Crestwood School (in the wooded valley behind Glendon College), this day camp offers respite from the concrete jungle. Grouped according to age (and gender for those over five), kids participate in activities centred around the Red Cross swim program (there are four heated saltwater pools on-site); a fully equipped gymnasium, a computer lab and a small animal farm round out the usual hiking, music, crafts and sports. Registration is open year round. Ages two and a half (must be toilet trained) to 10 and a half.
Hours:
July 28 to Aug. 22, and Aug. 11 to 22, full-day M–F 9–4; half- and three-quarter-day programs for kids under four also available
How much:
one month $2,250, includes door-to-door transportation (within catchment area) and hot lunches
