Who knew that two-year-olds could dribble basketballs and swing golf clubs? Sportball gets them started. Working in some 140 gyms across the city, trainers teach various sports skills to children ranging in age from 15 months to eight years. Most staff members are pros with backgrounds in education or sports, and use songs, games, warm-up exercises and simple verbal instructions.
