As the name suggests, this day camp introduces kids to basic skating and hockey skills, concepts and strategies. Typical students are house league players looking for ice time and pointers, though the program also welcomes beginner and advanced players. During the week-long sessions, kids get three hours on the ice each day, complemented by games of softball, soccer and touch football.
Hours:
summer camp, Aug. 7 to 29; girls’ camp, Aug. 5 to 8; Sa morning classes, Oct. to March; March break and winter camps available.
How much:
: from $240 per week; Sa classes from $95 for 10 weeks
