An excellent teaching club, Greenwin also boasts a full calendar of social activities and in-house competitions. Five Har-Tru clay courts and a winter bubble keep the balls bouncing year-round. Junior lessons focus on form, fitness and sportsmanship. In small classes, five- to 17-year-olds advance through beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Designed for children ages five to seven, the Tiny Tykes program introduces kids to the basics.
Hours:
Sept. to June, M–F 4–6, Sa–Su 2–8; summer camp, June to Aug., M–F 9–4 (competitive group), M–F 9–noon (junior group).
How much:
nine- to 12-week junior recreational program $160–$550; summer camp $250–$450 per week
